A bit of information about the Destinations |
|
Colon, Panamá
As the capital of the province of Colon on the Caribbean coast of central Panama, Colon is located in the heart of a rich historical area. Nearby atractions are: The Panama Railroad, Gatun Locks and the old Spanish fortress of San Lorenzo, perfect place to start your journey. This major port city is located less than an hour away by road from the greater range attractions of Panama City.
Cartagena, Colombia
One of the most photogenic cities in Latin America and a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. Cartagena has a rich history, its location made it a popular port with thieves and pirates. At present you can explore its many colonial fortresses, enjoy a swim in the sea or buy souvenirs typical of Colombia, such as the famous emeralds or just relax while drinking a cup of incomparable Colombian coffee
Santa Marta, Colombia
With the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Santa Marta as impressive backdrop, the major Colombian city was founded in the sixteenth century by Spanish conqueror Rodrigo de Bastidas. Today is a busy seaport and a great starting point to explore the flora and fauna, and landscapes of tropical forests and nature reserves nearby.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Located on the southern coast, Oranjestad is the historic Dutch capital of Aruba, where the traditions and high multicolored houses combine carved wooden doors with typical Dutch earthenware and outdoor patios. The charm of the city complements the natural beauty of this Caribbean island known, so that you can opt for a cultural adventure, excellent diving snorkeling trip or just a chance to relax in one of the many beautiful beaches.
Willemstad, Curazao
The capital of Willemstad is one of the most picturesque of the Caribbean. The legacy of early settlers is evident as the boat is entering the port, through its collection of Dutch colonial buildings of influence. Curacao is the largest island of the Greater Antilles
Kralendijk, Bonaire
The capital of Bonaire, Kranlendijk, was founded in the seventeenth century by the invading Dutch. The official language is Dutch, although many people still speak the "papiamento", a mixture of Spanish and Portuguese, with some words taken from African languages. Bonaire is a paradise for divers, by the spectacular coral formations and more than 350 species of fish, turtles, jellyfish, rays and dolphins that are undiscovered
