"Visit modern Panama City, The Amador Causeway and the Miraflores Locks"
Starts at 8:30 a.m. from your hotel.
We start with a panoramic tour throught the biggest banking center of Latin America and the newly built Cinta Costera or Coastal Beltway. We will then visit the Amador Causeway (Coastway), one of the most popular tourist locations in Panama. The Causeway joins the Islands of Naos, Perico and Flamenco with the mainland making it perfect for bike rides and walks. There are also many restaurants, most of them overlooking the water and the city skyline, offering everything from international food to typical Panamanian food as well.
We’ll continue our tour with a visit to the most important lock on the Pacific side, The Miraflores Locks where we will have a spectacular view of the locks and the Canal’s operation, completing our tour with a visit to the museum and its interesting display.
Finishes around 3:00 p.m.
