This tour starts from your hotel for a 2 hour drive to this amazing town.
The VALLE of ANTON is surrounded by mountains and stunning waterfalls and is approximately 600 mts above sea level atop an ancient extinct volcano. The town has a perfect spring climate all year round and lots of sunshine. This area is home to the famus golden frogs, square trees and many rare flowers and is great for bird-watching. We’ll visit the painted Stone with petroglyphs which is believed to be pre-colombian art, we will also visit the Chorro Macho waterfall by strolling through natural trails and breathtaking scenery. We will also tour a hill that is in the shape of a sleeping woman “India Dormida”, and is famous in local legends. We’ll then enjoy a local lunch and later have the opportunity to swim in the thermal waters, believed to help fight many ailments.Last but not least, we’ll visit the local market with a wide variety of Indian handcrafts, including wooden bowls, molas, paintings on wood, hammocks and many more curious handcrafts and sweets typical of the region.Return to the city will be around 4 pm.
